BreatheItIn_Logo_FullColor.jpgMarch is here and that means only a few more months to plan for summer activities, including Vacation Bible Camp! From July 2nd to 6th GCPC will once again welcome children from our congregation and community for a week of singing, art, games, storytelling and worship.

This year the theme is: Peace Lab: Discover God’s Way of Peace. Throughout the week,

the children will be led on an amazing adventure in becoming compassionate peace-makers! Through songs and stories and activities, they will learn about resolving conflict, figuring out ways to help others, and doing the real and valuable work of making peace at home and in the world.

If you have children, or know of children who would like to be part of our Vacation Bible Camp, here are the details:

Date: Monday July 2nd to Friday July 6th (closing worship on Sunday July 8th)
Time: 9:00 – 12:00
Cost: $20 per child
Ages: 4 – 12 (all children must be fully toilet trained and must have turned four before the beginning of camp)

Please note: Because of limitations of space and staff, we can only accommodate 30 children. Pre-registration is required.
Please contact Lisa Milroy in the church office to register.

Also, we need helpers! Vacation Bible Camp is always a great week, but it is a lot of work and requires many dedicated helpers. If you love children and would like to be part of Vacation Bible Camp, either during the planning stages, or during the week of camp, please speak to Laura Alary, or leave a message with Lisa Milroy in the office. We need people to help with: registration, decorations, set-up, arts and crafts, games, snack, and accompanying the children to their various activities. This is a great way for high school students to fulfill their requirements for community service hours.
