GCPC is once again participating in the Guildwood Garage Sale day on Sat. May 31 from 9 AM-1 PM. Bring your ‘stuff’ and your own table, and we’ll reserve a spot for you in front of the church for a donation of $10.
Our chef Bill Holly and sous chef Forbes Duncan, along with our Youth Class, will offer three sandwiches from the BBQ, while quantities last:
- Egg-on-a-bun ($4)
- Peameal-on-a-bun ($6)
- Egg-and-Peameal-on-a-bun ($7)
- Coffee & Tea ($1)
We are also having a Bake Sale and Plant Table.
How can you help?
Below are the donations that are welcome with drop-off times, and volunteers that are needed.
Plant Table
If you are dividing your perennials, ie. hostas, irises, or have extra houseplants to donate, we’ll take them, as well as anything garden-related such as plant pots, gardening tools, birdhouses, and bird feeders. Please drop off at the church on Friday, May 30 between 9 AM and 1 PM.
Bake Sale
Donations of baking such as squares, cookies, cupcakes, preserves, loaves, tarts, muffins and pies are gladly accepted. All baking (please label to help with pricing) can be dropped off at the church on Friday, May 30 between 9 AM and 1 PM.
If you don’t bake but still would like to contribute to the yard sale, we welcome monetary donations to go towards purchasing the peameal, eggs and buns.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed at 8:15 AM on Yard Sale Day to bring tables and chairs outside and then again at 12:45 PM to bring them inside. If you can spare a few hours on Saturday, May, 31, please let us know!
