Dear Friends,

Christ is risen!

We celebrate that God is truly alive—right here, among us, in our human community. God’s love doesn’t make us invincible or infallible, but it gives us courage and resilience—the strength to stand up nine times after falling eight. Join us each Sunday as we affirm and proclaim the risen Christ living in our hearts.  May each worship service empower us to walk in the way of compassion and courage.

Sunday, May 4

We celebrate the baptism of Eliyana Jane Burton, daughter of Janessa and Bailey. Please keep the family in your prayers and join us in blessing them on this special day.

Sunday, June 1 – New Member Sunday

We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome new members into our church family through the profession of faith. If you are interested in becoming a member, we invite you to speak with Rev. Moon or one of the elders. An initial meeting for those wishing to join will be held on Thursday, May 15 at 1 PM in the church lounge. For those unable to attend, a second brief meeting is scheduled for Sunday, May 18 from 12:00-12:55 PM following the worship service. Additional meetings can be arranged upon request.

Sunday, June 8

We celebrate the baptism of Lennex Ivan Felipe Milne, son of Andrew and Chelo Milne, and grandson of Bob Milne. Please join us as we share in the joy and bless Lennex with our prayers.

Sunday, June 15

We celebrate the faithful ministry of Rev. Helen Smith in our denomination and her devoted service to Christ. This will also be a meaningful opportunity for all of us to renew our own service to Christ.
